Climate change is a serious problem in ASEAN because it is one of the regions most affected by it. We’d like to organize an ASEAN Green Week to help slow climate change in ASEAN countries.
The ASEAN Green Week will take place in the first week of August every year, and it will last for one week. Young people in all ASEAN countries will participate in many activities. They can plant trees, go to school or work by cycling or public transport. Moreover, they will have the chance to organise and participate in clean-up events in the community.
The aim of the event is to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the environment, as well as raise awareness among young people of environmental protection. The event also helps develop a healthier lifestyle for everyone, allowing us to live in a cleaner environment.
We really hope you will consider our proposal, as we think that climate change is a pressing issue in ASEAN that needs to be solved as soon as possible.
